Vitamins
Your dragon does not get all of the vitamins it needs from its food sources alone, vitamins suppliments are essential. Calcium and vitamin/mineral supplements are imperative for dragons of all ages. Dragons need calcium and a multi-vitamin to ensure proper health and to reduce the chances of getting MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease). Calcium with D3 needs to be given along with using a fluorescent UVB bulb. We use Rep-Cal Vitamins which you can find in local pet stores or order online.

Take Your Vitamins!
Getting a dragon to eat a powder supplement by itself would be impossible. So I use a sealed baggy or a small tub and sprinkle in the supplements and lightly shake it making sure all feeders are dusted. Putting vitamins on feeders is the most effective method of getting your dragons to eat them. You can dust them onto salads as well if your dragon is a good salad eater. If you have a picky eater then click here for tips on getting your dragon to eat salad.
