Michonne Laid Eggs

Picture
Michonne laid eggs finally, after what felt like forever. She laid on 5.19.17 a total of 23 eggs, though 1 appears infertile.
Picture
It took her about an hour to get them all out. They are already white and getting more solid by the day. Dragon Eggs take 60-90 days to hatch, lets hope for 60ish.
Picture
This clutch also belongs to Orange Crush, so we are hoping for some gorgeous orange babies. To learn more on Bearded Dragon Eggs Click Here.

Today was the last day of the NorCal Reptile Expo and it was a blast!

There were educational/rescue reptile booths as well as breeders and vendors.

My son held a snake courtesy of Shedskin Reptiles.

I got to hold this amazing and sweet Tegu from For Goodness Snakes.
Picture
Which was amazing because I held him years ago at my first reptile expo. I was super young and soaking wet because it was pouring out.
Picture
And company called Classroom Safari was there with lots of cool animals.

Chewy.com - Zilla Reptile Munchies Omnivore Mix

Picture
I was sent Zilla's Reptile Munchies Omnivore Mix by Chewy.com. They are an awesome online pet supply store.
Picture
Picture
Zilla has made a whole bunch of these munchie snack packs for a variety of reptiles & amphibians.
Picture
Picture
This one I tested out is the Omnivore Mix, because of course Bearded Dragons are omnivores! The mix is a freeze dried assortment of bugs, veggies and fruits which you add water to before feeding.
Picture
Lucille was hesitant at first. Most Bearded Dragons don't really like freeze dried-pre mixed foods.
Picture
Picture
Then she just dove right in. She was eating it so fast that the pictures were getting blurry!
Picture
I think this a mix worth buying and feeding as a snack a few times a month. It definitely should not replace fresh & live food. But it is a great back up to keep handy just in case you do run out of food, just open, pour, add water, done!

Chewy.com - Zilla Reptile Munchies Fruit Mix

5/9/2017

Picture
I received the Reptile Munchies from Chewy.com. They are made by Zilla and are a freeze dried snack blend that comes in a resealable bag. They have a variety of flavors and mixes to choose from. I tried out the Reptile Munchies Fruit Mix for our Sulcata Tortoise, Tuck.
Picture
Picture
This mix is a blend of fruit that smells so yummy I wanted to eat it, but I didn't of course. After adding a little water to these freeze dried puffs they look like fresh cut fruit pieces. And Tuck went right for it.
Picture
Now for Sulcatas fruit is only recommended on rare occasions as a snack, not as a part of their everyday diet. But Tuck sure did love it. I would recommend this product to an owner of any reptile listed in the recommendations, but it could also be a treat for Bearded Dragons too!
