Every month I review items from Chewy.com, an online pet supply store. This month I am reviewing Flucker's Buffet Blend for Juvenile Bearded Dragons, the Veggie Variety. The reptile food is a supplement that has dried veggies and protein pellets. This yummy treat is great for an occasional snack or if you run out of feeder insects can be used as a supplement for a day or two. It may take a bit for your dragons to snack on this blend as the shape is foreign to them, but you can mix it with their greens. This month I am reviewing the Pangea Gecko Ledge. This ledge is intended for Geckos but I find it works great for bearded dragons. It has a magnetic side with 2 magnets to hold it in place. And it has removable cups for easy feeding and cleaning. It is very sturdy and looks like a rock ledge. And I found it really useful for our bearded dragon cages that are high up so they can see out more easily. I very much recommend the Pangea Gecko Ledge for any caged reptile, just be sure you mount it on the cool side and not under the basking light, it is not designed for high heat. You collect "Z-points" from Zilla products then send them in with a order form to get your gear. You can get some really cool things, like hats, backpacks, T-shirts and more. I am going to save up for that adorable turtle myself. So save up your points and then Download the form, Click Here! Zilla's Small Animal Munchies are a great snack for a variety of small pets. You can offer it dry to pets like hamsters and birds, or add water to it for your scaly pets. We tried it out with our Uromastxy. Though he has zero patience and ran into the bag grabbing a pea. Fresh vegges are always best but there is no reason you can't add a little flavor to your greens with some Small Animal Munchies by Zilla. It should be stored in a cool, dry place, like with your herbs and spices. Dragons need this supplement frequently, check the chart here to see how often. It is easy to feed to your dragon, you can sprinkle it on feeder bugs or on salads. Zoomed makes many quality reptile products, and their Calcium with D3 is no exception. You can order it from Chewy.com and have it shipped right to your house! I did receive this item free of charge form Chewy.com, in an exchange for my honest review. I was sent Zilla's Reptile Munchies Omnivore Mix by Chewy.com. They are an awesome online pet supply store. Zilla has made a whole bunch of these munchie snack packs for a variety of reptiles & amphibians. This one I tested out is the Omnivore Mix, because of course Bearded Dragons are omnivores! The mix is a freeze dried assortment of bugs, veggies and fruits which you add water to before feeding. Lucille was hesitant at first. Most Bearded Dragons don't really like freeze dried-pre mixed foods. Then she just dove right in. She was eating it so fast that the pictures were getting blurry! I think this a mix worth buying and feeding as a snack a few times a month. It definitely should not replace fresh & live food. But it is a great back up to keep handy just in case you do run out of food, just open, pour, add water, done! They are made by Zilla and are a freeze dried snack blend that comes in a resealable bag. They have a variety of flavors and mixes to choose from. I tried out the Reptile Munchies Fruit Mix for our Sulcata Tortoise, Tuck. This mix is a blend of fruit that smells so yummy I wanted to eat it, but I didn't of course. After adding a little water to these freeze dried puffs they look like fresh cut fruit pieces. And Tuck went right for it. Now for Sulcatas fruit is only recommended on rare occasions as a snack, not as a part of their everyday diet. But Tuck sure did love it. I would recommend this product to an owner of any reptile listed in the recommendations, but it could also be a treat for Bearded Dragons too! To order this yummy product Click Here.
