This review is on the Flucker's Freeze Dried Mealworm treats!
Picture
While live feeder bugs are best for your bearded dragon it is always good to keep some non perishable foods on hand.
Picture
These mealworms can last a very long time and are a great salad topping or substitute for live food in a pinch. And our dragons eat them right up!
Picture
So try Flucker's Freeze Dried Mealworms for a great extra snack or back up live food!

Everyone has heard countless tails about a "boy and his dog" but what about a boy's other best friend, the dragon!
Picture
So forget Clifford, Grumpy Cat and those other furry friends and go on an adventure with Spike & Jeremiah!
Picture
This beautifully colored book is about a boy and his pet bearded dragon, and I must say a book like this is long overdue. Explore the world on a fun adventure, filled with artistic expression and these two friends. And the best part? You learn a bit about real dragon care too.
Picture
This book is a great gift idea for a family thinking about getting a dragon, my son read it and was smiling the whole time. For me seeing our "out of the ordinary" family pets represented in such an exciting way just made my heart happy. This book truly belongs on your bookshelf if you own a bearded dragon.
Picture
Please support this book and it's author a real mother and family who love their scaly family pet, we need more stories like this out there putting loving reptiles in a good light.

Picture
Another monthly product review for you guys, the Fluker's Bend-A-Branch.
Picture
The bendable "vine" looks great in an enclosure and is especially fun for reptiles that love to climb.
Picture
Our baby bearded dragons use it for just that, they climb all over.
Picture
I love the natural wood look and the fact that it is soft.
Picture
And it is also perfect for chameleons and crested geckos as well. They offer 3 sizes so check them out Click Here.

Chewy.com-  Zoo Med Reptile Shelter

Picture
Here is one of my monthly reptile product reviews the Zoo Med Repti Shelter on Chewy.com.
Picture
This unique and open-able hide by Zoo Med is a great addition to an enclosure for a shy reptile.
Picture
Picture
You can let them have a lot of privacy but easily remove the top of the eco-friendly ceramic hide if needed for cleaning etc.
Picture
The size small is what I reviewed and it is a good hide for hatchling bearded dragons, and other small reptiles including crested geckos.
Picture
For crested geckos it is also the perfect egg lay bin.
Picture
I like the design and texture of the hide it has a great moss rock esthetic, and would highly recommend it to adult reptile owners.
Picture
I would not suggest this for an enclosure for a reptile that a young child takes care of as it is a little heavy and breakable if dropped. To get your own Click Here.

Chewy.com- Fluker's Liquid Vitamin Reptile Supplement

12/20/2017

Picture
Add a little health in your bearded dragon's holiday with Fluker's Liquid Vitamin Drops. Follow the dosing listed and add vitamins to food or water sources for your dragon. I found the drops easy to use and store, and less messy than powdered vitamins.
Picture
Chewy.com carries this product and they ship fast too! The drops are easy to use and they make a calcium drop as well, and as you know dragons need vitamin and calcium supplements in their diets.
Picture
Picture
So stuff your dragon's stocking with a gift that will help keep them healthy all year long!

The Big Baby

8/29/2017

About 2 months ago Biscuit was 30 days gravid. She dug for over a week but would not lay her eggs. We were going to take her to the vet for emergency removal of the eggs when she FINALLY laid them.
Picture
Sadly most were yellow and dead right away, the rest started oozing and caving in despite having blood vessels and signs of life and eventually they died. All of them but one.
Picture
This little guy or girl was a fighter and showed strong signs of life. The weirdest part of this sole survivor was as time went buy the egg grew HUGE. It is the largest dragon egg we have ever had.
Over 2 months of incubation finally today 8.29.17 it hatched.
Picture
Picture
With a nose and tail out I breathed a sigh of relief knowing at least one of these guys made it.
Picture
Picture
I could already tell just by seeing the head this was definitely a larger than normal baby bearded dragon.
Picture
Picture
Just take a look at the size difference by a penny between a baby that hatched in July and this new big baby.
Picture
Picture
And look at the difference in eggs sizes.
Picture
And check out the comparison to this other hatchling born in July, both of them only hours old.
Picture
Picture
Picture
There is no doubt in my mind that this little guy/gal is very special. I will keep you guys posted on her/his progress on my Instagram.

Chewy.com - Fluker's Buffet Blend Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food

Picture
Every month I review items from Chewy.com, an online pet supply store.
Picture
This month I am reviewing Flucker's Buffet Blend for Juvenile Bearded Dragons, the Veggie Variety.
Picture
The reptile food is a supplement that has dried veggies and protein pellets.
Picture
This yummy treat is great for an occasional snack or if you run out of feeder insects can be used as a supplement for a day or two.
Picture
It may take a bit for your dragons to snack on this blend as the shape is foreign to them, but you can mix it with their greens.
